Associated Builders and Contractors understand the struggles that a Potential Apprentice may encounter when trying to meet the program entry requirements. We would like to offer some assistance with learning the basics of Algebra so that an applicant is able to pass the college placement test.
Our policies state that applicants must:
- Obtain a "C" or higher in high school Algebra for one year
- Attend a college Algebra class, scoring a "C" or higher
- Take a college placement test scoring high enough to place you in one of the following math classes:
