No, The JATC doesn’t place individuals in the program based on intents to hire. All interested individuals must apply, and when your application gets into the top of the Ready for Employment list depending on the individual programs, then the employer can hire you.

Q. IF I HAVE AN EMPLOYER WHO IS NOT A TRAINING AGENT AND WANTS TO GET ME INTO AN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM, CAN I BYPASS THE APPLICATION RANKING PROCESS?
Yes, you wouldn’t need to be ranking in the pool; however you still need to meet program requirements and been employed by the company for a minimum of 90 days on payroll in order to qualify.
