No, the committee guarantees the State of Oregon that you will obtain a minimum of 144 hours or more a year of related training by the time you are recommended to take the state journey exam or completed from the apprenticeship program. If you skip the first year, we are not living up to our commitment.

No, classes are for registered apprentices only.
Tuition and books cost approximately $1000.00 to $1150.00 per year. The cost is the responsibility of the apprentice. The colleges do have financial aid available and/or your company may provide assistance depending on their company policies.
