AGREEMENT OF APPROVAL 

HVAC  & Sheet Metal  - Training Agent Agreement

  • Complete a site visit with a committee member verifying that required training elements are in place.

  • Must maintain proper ratio of journeylevel workers to apprentices as determined in the committee apprenticeship standards

  • Payment of wages, as determined by the Committee's annual wage survey

  • Scheduling work for apprentices so that the apprentice is able to attend related training classes. Apprentices are required to attend related training classes fall, winter and spring terms.

  • Working conditions of apprentices shall conform to all laws and regulations affecting their health, welfare, and safety.

  • Notify the Committee in writing when and why an apprentice leaves their employment, including an apprenticeship termination form that states that the apprentice could be re-hired or no re-hire.

  • Report to the Committee any changes in name, location or phone number of company.

 

 

Sprinkler Fitter  & Test, Adjust and Balance- Training Agent Agreement of Approval

  • Complete a site visit with a committee member verifying that required training elements are in place.

  • Apprentice supervision and adherence to required one-to-one ratio.

  • Payment of wages, as determined by the Committee's annual wage survey.

  • Assign a proctor who will supervise the apprentice while taking the required tests each month. Proctors need to be able to work with the apprentices to schedule a date and time for test taking each month. Proctors need to allow enough time for an apprentice to complete each test.

  • Apprentices cannot be placed in work situations that would cause them to miss scheduled related training testing.

  • Working conditions of apprentices shall conform to all laws and regulations affecting, their health, welfare, and safety.

  • Notify the Committee in writing when an apprentice leaves their employment, including an apprenticeship termination form that states that the apprentice could be re-hired or no re-hire.

  • Report to the Committee any changes in name, contact name, location or phone number of company.
