Established in 1950, ABC is the only major industry association that truly represents merit contractors within the entire construction team – general contractors, specialty contractors, suppliers and professional services firms. ABC’s role, which has remained consistent since 1950, is to maintain a regulatory and labor climate that allows members and their employees to succeed solely on merit, and without outside influence. Today ABC is represented nationwide by over 25,000 construction-related firms through a network of 78 local chapters.
