I do not have an AQC certificate for my company, how do I get this?
To be eligible, projects must be completed between January 1, 2008 and June 1, 2009.
Entries must be from current members in good standing with the Pacific Northwest Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.
All entries must be submitted in a three-ring binder with tabs, as indicated on the application, with the name of the company project and entry category on the cover. The completed entry form, with the non-refundable $200 entry fee, is required with your submission.

You may enter as many categories as you would like; however, a separate binder, application and entry fee must be included with each submission.

Each entry must follow the Entry Requirements section of the application, be accompanied by the entry fee and be received at the Chapter office by 4:00pm on July 31, 2009.
Absolutely no exceptions will be made to the deadlines. Do not put your application at risk due to mail difficulties. Send your application early.
Award of Excellence
Up to three awards per entry are given Contractor/Owner/Architect.
Award of Merit
One construction project in each category will be eligible for an Award of Merit.
Recognition of Winners
All award winners will be recognized at our Excellence In Construction Awards Banquet. News releases will be distributed to local press for Award Winners.
Yes. Include in your entry a minimum of five, but not to exceed ten, 8" x 10" or full-page photographs. Provide a brief description on each photograph. When printing or producing these photos keep in mind that the best quality photos will get the greatest exposure and promotion. Please do not send videotapes.
A CD with your digital photos saved at a minimum of 300 dpi is also required. Keep photos on the CD clear of any labels or captions (some digital cameras will add the date onto the photo, please be sure to disable this camera setting). Do not put the photos within a software program such as PowerPoint or Acrobat/PDF, simply save them as a JPEG directly onto the CD. Please make sure the CD is secured to the entry binder with a good quality CD case - we get a lot of entries where the CD gets separated from the rest of the entry.
Please email us or call (503) 598-0522 stating the category you are entering in and we will try and put you in touch with one of the Excellence In Construction (EIC) Committee members with experience in the category of your project.
