In January, ABC commissioned management consulting firm FMI to conduct a survey to quantify the scope of workforce development initiatives by contractors and chapters throughout the ABC membership.
According to the results of the 2021 Workforce Development Survey, ABC members invested $1.3 billion to educate their employees in 2020, a decrease from $1.5 billion in 2019. Despite the impressive investment in education in 2020, the number of course attended also decreased to 517,000 from 1.1 million in 2019.
